My name is Jonas and I am the founder and principal consultant of Biolegal.
I hold a Master of Laws (jur. kand.) degree from Uppsala University, including studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a visiting scholarship at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, as well as an advanced Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Intellectual Property Law from Stockholm University.
In addition to about five years of general legal practice (the courts and in-house at an IT company), I have over 15 years of in-depth experience from the life science industry. I have learned the trade in positions as in-house counsel at precision radiation medicine company Elekta and at dermatology company Galderma (Q-Med), as well as from supporting a wide variety of Swedish and international life science companies and organizations as external counsel at law firms Lindahl and Navia Law.
I started Biolegal with the idea of focusing entirely on helping companies in the life science sector with their business and operations. This includes contracts and other legal matters around IP, product development, clinical studies, manufacturing and supply, collaborations, licensing, sales and distribution, etc.
Biolegal also maintains a network of trusted collaboration partners that may assist in matters outside my focus areas, if useful or required in a specific case.
